Giving spirit helps Paws and Claws Rescue

On Nov. 12, Minnesotans stepped forward to donate more than $18,063,000 to schools and nonprofit organizations across the state. This giving spirit will help many organizations in our area, including Paws and Claws Rescue and Resort, fulfill their mission.

The members of the Northland Remer Education Association would like to thank all those who were so helpful during the last referendum process.  Whether it was Mr. Mayclin attending more than 50 meetings, the hours spent by the dedicated members of the Vote Yes Committee, or community members who helped spread the good word, we, the certified staff at Northland Community Schools owe you all a great debt of gratitude. The referendum would not have passed without your work.

War, sacrifice and America's veterans
