The Walker-Hackensack-Akeley (WHA) School Board held a special meeting May 11 to interview two candidates applying for an interim position to fill Brian Dietz’ soon-to-be vacated superintendent post.

Earlier this year Dietz, who is almost two years into his three year contract with WHA, applied and was hired for the superintendent’s position at Chisago Lakes School District.
