BEMIDJI — Sanford Bemidji is hosting its free Survivors of Stroke Support Group from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Jan. 22 in the Education Center Conference Room at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.
The Education Center is located inside the east entrance of the medical center. Attendees do not need to register ahead of time.
This month, Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance resource facilitator Ben Pedersen will explore local services and resources available to people affected by brain injury. The Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance provides free or low-cost educational opportunities for all people affected by brain injury, including family and friends.
The Survivors of Stroke Support Group is for those who have experienced a stroke, as well as for their support person and/or caregiver. The group offers support, understanding and friendship, and provides information about stroke and stroke related topics.
The group meets regularly the fourth Tuesday of every month in the Sanford Bemidji Medical Center Education Center from 2:30 to 4 p.m. For questions, leave a message at (218) 333-5856.
