Jack Pine Stables Riders, volunteers and helpers presented their program Jan. 10 during the Walker Rotary’s luncheon meeting at the Arvig WACC.The nonprofit organization was started in 2000 by Chris Oppegard and is now under the direction of Teri Gapinski , with a gift of land from a generous woman.  This therapeutic horsemanship and riding program for people with special needs has a goal of looking toward fundraising for a roof over their horse arena that will cost around $150,000. Donations are always welcome.
