The Lady Wildcats are still searching for their first win of the season as they fell 78-19 at Sebeka Monday night.

The Trojans, who improve to 6-4 with the win, led 55-8 at the half.

The loss drops Laporte to 0-11, with two other two other games on the schedule this week. They host both Bertha-Hewitt and Clearbrook-Gonvick.

Keairah Urrutia finished with 10 points, while both Kortni Kerby and Alyssa Moss scored four.

Maya Lake led Sebeka with 21 points.

Next week Laporte hosts Blackduck.

Laporte loses by 31

Despite some fine performances by a couple of players, it still wasn’t good enough as Laporte fell 78-47 at Northome-Kelliher Thursday night.

Laporte trailed 33-15 at the break and never got on track in the second half.

Leading the Wildcats was Urrutia with 22 points, while Camryn Smith continued her great all-around play with 11 points and 11 assists.

Ava Smith finished with six points, and Kerby scored four and grabbed eight rebounds. Kiah Reimer and Moss each had eight boards.

Junior Kylie Owen led the Mustangs, who have won four straight after an 0-5 start, with 25 points.
