The Park Rapids Lakes Area Fishing Expo will be held April 12 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Riverside United Methodist Church, 1005 Park Ave. N. (Hwy 71).
This free event will include meeting regional fishing guides, panelists, learning about new techniques and the latest equipment and how to protect fishing resources. Enjoy refreshments (free will offering); popcorn, hotdogs, chips and pop/water.
The featured guest speaker is Chip Leer of Walker, a 2019 Inductee into the Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame, TV and stage host of the world’s most prestigious walleye tournament circuit, the National Walleye Tour that airs to over 130 million households worldwide, as well as the angler driving the popular digital fishing information portal, Fishing the Wildside. Leer is a passionate and respected multi-species angler.

8:30 p.m. — Expo open house style gathering
